This piece was created during my residency in Florida while I was guest tattooing at Fashion Haus Ink. During my stay, the studio owner, Elizabeth, invited me to do a paint night with her. The experience became an unexpected portal—offering space to step outside of the tattoo practice and into a moment of deep emotional reflection.
As I painted, I found myself channeling the energetic culmination of my entire 2025 year, which I had devoted to the guiding mantra Empowered Devotion. My trip to Florida at the beginning of 2026 became a symbolic anchoring of everything that year had taught me—about commitment to purpose, surrender to growth, and the courage to remain open through transformation.
This painting holds the energetic imprint of that integration. Through fluid movement, layered color, and intuitive expression, the piece embodies the way experience, memory, and emotion dissolve together to reshape the inner landscape. It is both a personal chronicle and an offering—capturing the moment when devotion becomes empowerment, and transformation becomes embodied truth.
